Surveying, Netting and Harvesting Fish
Professionalism:
Our staff are qualified in fishery management and our business is a full-time operation
Experience:
Over 23 years experience in the UK and Europe
Equipment:
We have equipment worth in excess of £450,000
Framlingham Fisheries have harvested coarse fish every working day for the last 23 years.
We have equipment valued at £450,000 which we feel will cover all operational exercises.
Our experience and qualifications enable us to provide a service tailored to the requirements of each individual water, thus ensuring a successful operation.
We also regularly use electro-fishing equipment; in fact four different sets to suit every situation. Again, we have developed techniques to maximise success on those sites where netting can be difficult, in particular in areas of weed and debris, which means that fish can be driven from unnettable areas into more manageable locations.
Our full understanding of these methods ensures that we provide a cost-effective service which completely puts in the shade the efforts of a number of part-time operators in this field, (many of whom have a net, a van, a great deal of hope and very little ability).
All our staff are qualified in fishery management; when our personnel arrive to work with you they will be efficient and experienced in the tasks they are there to perform. Each operation is assessed carefully as no two waters are the same. Species, depth, vegetation and the personal requirements of the fishery controller are all taken into consideration.
Surveying
As well as harvesting fish, we regularly undertake stock surveys for clubs and water owners. We have noticed an increasing demand for this work in recent years as cormorant predation has taken its toll on many water's stocks. Our expertise, enables us to provide an accurate assessment of the fish in a water. Surveying can be carried out in conjunction with consultancy work for which a reduced fee is charged.
We are confident that our range of services provide excellent value for money. In our business, as in many others, you get what you pay for.
